Project Summary
Part of my duties at WHMB-TV40 was to do promos for the station. One of the main productions we did almost every week was a local high school football or basketball game. The broadcast was known as “The Game of the Week” for 30 plus years. We didn’t have the budget or time for 3D animation so, for this season I took apart one of Adobe’s templates to adapt it for our use in our promo so we could add logos and more text than the template would allow. Adding sound effects made the animation more convincing as well. I had a lot of details this particular week to pack into 20 seconds as that was the length allowed for promos on the station. Our sales team loved this promo.
